Welcome to Sawtry Dental Newsletter

Andrea Hill will be going on maternity leave from January 2018. Georgina Alsadrani will be taking over her sessions with a view to staying on permanently and working together with Andrea (when she returns from maternity leave) in looking after you.

Children no longer have to be afraid of seeing dentists. Our complimentary team of therapists will be able to gain their trust and confidence in dentistry, provide a high standard of dental care and when they reach adulthood are more than happy to start seeing the dentists.

Dental therapists also carry out the role of dental Hygienists, who are specially trained in preventing and treating oral diseases. At Sawtry Dental, we recognise the importance and value of prevention. They will carefully remove the hard deposits of tartar (or ‘calculus') that build up on the teeth and teach you how to prevent them coming back. This will do a lot to slow the progress of gum disease.

By talking to you about your diet, and recommending other preventive measures, the hygienist can help you keep to a routine that will slow down tooth decay. Regular visits and advice will help build your confidence in keeping your mouth healthy and fresh breath.
